Norrbottens Vodka - Brändö Destilleri

Norrbottens Vodka is an artisan ultra-premium vodka, distilled from organic barley grown in Torne Valley and soft water from Brändön. In a custom-built, world-unique copper distillation column designed and constructed by chemical engineer and founder Viktor Björklund, the vodka is crafted to achieve maximum purity and an extraordinarily smooth taste profile.

About Brändö Destilleri

Brändö Destilleri AB is an independent craft distillery located in rural Brändön, outside Luleå, Sweden. Driven by a passion for traditional distillation techniques, we produce Sweden's northernmost spirits entirely from scratch – without purchasing pre-made neutral grain spirit. By converting local organic barley, we maintain full control over every step from milling to the finished bottle.

"Norrbotten in a bottle"

When I was just 16 years old, I became fascinated by distillation and the engineering behind it, long before I had ever tasted alcohol.

The ability to separate two liquids through heat and condensation felt almost magical, and I wanted to learn everything about it.

After years of dreaming, saving, and planning, I decided to take the leap and established my own distillery at age 20.

The path here has been anything but straightforward, but I always knew I wanted to stay in my home region and create something worthy of the pride so many of us feel for Norrbotten.

With that vision in mind, I created a product that honors Norrbotten through its distinct custom design and by being crafted from local, organic northern barley.

Simply put: Norrbotten in a bottle.
